Following the attention and excitement surrounding its first appearance, TRA-Kyoto returns - Tokyo Auto Salon 2026… the next evolution of the Lotus Bunny [Dorito powered]…

The second rendition takes a bold new direction, introducing a rotary-powered configuration into the Lotus Elise platform - at the heart sits a Mazda 13B-REW rotary engine - compact, high-revving, and rich in character. Delivery of power to the ground is through a TY756 transmission, commonly found in the Subaru Legacy and Impreza, whilst Maxx ECU power management oversees engine management for tuning efficiency and precise control.

Visually, the Lotus Bunny makes an immediate impact. Finished in a tonally Deep Metallic Green, the aggressive wide-body silhouette emphasises the Lotus Bunny proportions while amplifying its lightweight presence. Stance is completed upon a set of three-piece wheels, featuring polished chrome lips and gold centre - a timeless combination that contrasts perfectly against the modern bodywork.

The original Lotus Bunny captured the eyes of many at TAS 2025, quickly becoming one of the most talked-about builds of the show. With hype still very much alive, this latest iteration continues the lineage… pushing boundaries, blending cultures, and redefining expectations.
Lotus Bunny returns as part of the TRA-Kyoto protégé lineup - uncompromising in execution - unmistakable in identity.
